Then & now: family business to the deal table

About

The short version

My parents have owned a Tex-Mex restaurant for 27 years. I grew up in it, and it taught me how a business really runs long before I ever opened a model.

Growing up in it gave me an owner’s lens early, an instinct for what it takes to build something and make it last. That’s the thing I lead with. I spent over five years in the markets at FactSet, earned my MBA at Yale, and now work in M&A advisory. The result is a strong financial foundation paired with something most of my peers are still building: a strategist’s perspective. I started there.

I’m at my best on the messy problems: how to position a business for what’s next, and how to figure out what something is really worth. (And yes, my last name really does break most email character limits.)
